Ballavere Cottage lies in the centre of the small village of Colby, toward the south of the Island, and is home to Judith and David.
You will be looked after on a bed & breakfast basis and be able to enjoy a generous amount of private, comfortable space, throughout your stay.
We have just one guest bedroom so your privacy is guaranteed.
Adequate parking is available on site, or alternatively, we are happy to collect and deliver you both to and from the airport or ferry terminals.

Your ground floor bedroom offers a luxurious brass framed, double bed, draped with crisp, white cotton linen. Dressing gowns, slippers and sumptuous white towels all add those special little extras to your stay.

Our photographic studio and teaching centre is to be seen to the right hand side of the opposite image.
Your dining area incorporates a refrigerator, tea and coffee facilities, fresh milk (no awful UHT milk cartons) and all you would expect from a four star bed & breakfast home with the added accolade of a Gold Award from our local tourist board.
Satellite TV, fast wifi and a comprehensive photographic library, are all at your disposal within your private, spacious lounge area.

From the time David was six years old, his mother managed a successful photography business, offering him an early insight into this amazing profession.
Throughout his career he has achieved and acquired numerous qualifications and awards which are recognised by all of the major photographic societies, worldwide.
With substantial Gold Awards to his name David is a well respected speaker and judge at many photographic seminars and conventions around the world.
In January 2019, he was awarded both "Wedding Photographer of the Year" and "Portrait Photographer of the Year" at the prestigious PTO convention in Mexico.
David is an 'invited contributor' to the world famous Getty Image® library and is probably the Island's most qualified, awarded and experienced photographer.
